How I Can Help

Support at Every Stage of Feeding

Every visit is tailored to your feeding goals.

Prenatal Visit

We work through your questions and feeding goals together, review breastfeeding skills, colostrum harvesting, and your pump so you feel empowered starting your breastfeeding journey.

Postpartum Visit

We meet after delivery in my office or your home, as often as needed, working on positioning and a comfortable latch. We will develop a feeding plan that works best for you and your baby.

Weighted Feeds

Using pre- and post-feed weights, we can measure exactly how much milk your baby is transferring at the breast.

Pump & Flange Review

We review your breast pump, flange sizing, pumping routine, and safe milk storage so your setup works for you.

What Families Are Saying

“When I gave birth to my second child, I was admittedly very crippled with anxiety knowing that after he was born, I’d be starting another breastfeeding journey. With my first child, I was mortified and felt like a failure (that I could not breastfeed my baby)…

I was extremely nervous to try again. I wanted to be able to breastfeed more than anything. I had so much fear and anxiety about whether I was feeding him enough and if it was working. Unfortunately, he lost a lot of weight in the first few days which made me feel like it would not work out again.

When I came into Beth’s office, my son was four days old and I had been to the pediatrician’s office every day since discharge to get a weight on him. He was latching, but I was already supplementing with formula at the pediatrician’s recommendation. Beth was immediately so receptive to hearing my experience and provided empathy and support. She gave me incredible pointers, from positioning him to reprogramming my pump. It felt like the best therapy session of my life as she listened and coached me to feed my child successfully.

Beth also gave me pointers on how to relax my mind and help get my head in a space where I could have a better letdown. Three sessions later, my son was making incredible weight gain. I was beside myself each time we weighed him to see that he was taking in so much milk. After caring for my daughter two years ago and giving her bottles with exact measurements, it was confusing for me to trust that my body was giving my son what he needed, therefore these sessions helped take away those fears as we weighed him before and after each breast.

I can’t understate how important it was for me to be able to breastfeed after my last experience, and I can’t thank Beth enough for helping me get to this point where I am now able to exclusively breastfeed my son. Being able to breastfeed is honestly one of the most important accomplishments of my life and a dream come true. There is so much pressure on women to be able to breastfeed, but also, there’s a biological instinct that drives us and I think not being able to affected me deeply. I am so excited that I now feel independent on this journey going forward with confidence I never thought I’d have. In each session, Beth was incredibly enthusiastic and reassuring. Her office was peaceful. She is equally informative and supportive. Thank you so much, Beth!!!”

“Thank you so much for all the support, care, and patience you’ve offered to my daughter and me these past few months. It is no exaggeration that we would be completely lost and maybe even have given up on breastfeeding if we hadn’t connected with you. Our quality of life is like night and day. You are an exceptional provider who has made us feel heard, important, and validated. I am so grateful for you and hope we stay in touch.”

— North Kingstown Mom

“I cannot thank you enough for all your help with my son. If I had not found you, I would have certainly given up breastfeeding all together – and missed out on such a beautiful experience. Your kind, calm words and positive energy made such a difference in my fragile postpartum weeks. I looked forward to our appointments (unlike all the others I dreaded). Just wanted to express my gratitude and thank you so much.”

— South Kingstown Mom

“I just wanted to make sure I told you how thankful we are for you and that you truly make a huge difference in our lives. My goal was to breastfeed to 18 months and thanks to you I think we will get there. I was able to maintain my supply when I went back to work and never needed to supplement with formula. You’re the best!”

— Rhode Island Mom
